In 2021, a delightful initiative called Scone Time was introduced to our community with a simple yet powerful mission: to bring together those who felt lonely, isolated, or were new to the area over a comforting morning tea. This weekly gathering has blossomed into a cherished tradition, fostering connections and friendships that have enriched the lives of many.

 

Every Friday between 10am – 12pm at Marthaville, the aroma of freshly baked scones fills the air as locals gather for a morning of warmth and camaraderie. The initiative was born from a desire to combat the growing sense of isolation many individuals face in today's fast-paced world. What started as a modest effort to offer a welcoming space has now become a cornerstone of our community life.
