ELEGANT WHITE PICNIC 5th April 2025

Cessnock’s Signature Event: Rotary Club of Cessnock Hosts an Enchanting Evening at Marthaville.

Rotary Club of Cessnock recently hosted its Elegant White Picnic under a canopy of silk lanterns, and the soft glow of candles in the beautifully restored historical garden at Marthaville, creating an unforgettable evening of community, charm, and connection.

Guests, dressed in their finest white apparel, gathered at three elegantly styled long tables set across the lawn, surrounded by the soft glow of lights and the natural beauty of the heritage garden. The wisteria covered gazebo became a focal point of the evening, with the exquisite Rose Chandelier adding a touch of floral elegance that set the perfect tone

Gentle background music added to the relaxed and elegant atmosphere as guests shared conversation, laughter, and delicious food. It was a night of calm sophistication, just a beautiful celebration of togetherness and purpose.

The event was not only a visual delight but also a successful fundraiser, with proceeds going to support RYPEN (Rotary Youth Program of Enrichment) a program that empowers young people through leadership development and personal growth.

SPRING PICNIC 13th Sept 2025

Springtime at Marthaville with Cessnock Rotary

Cessnock Rotary welcomed the new season with a joyful Spring Picnic in the historical gardens at  Marthaville. With sunflowers as the theme, the gazebo was beautifully decorated, setting the perfect scene for a day of sunshine, blue skies, and friendship.

Guests arrived in their favourite spring outfits, adding even more colour and cheer to the occasion. Vicki prepared the delicious picnic hampers, George, our photographer was kept busy capturing the many special moments, while Ron’s smooth-sounding voice kept everyone entertained throughout the afternoon.

It was a picture-perfect celebration of spring, community, and Rotary fellowship.

The funds raised for local scholarships would not be possible without the incredible support of our sponsors.
